  This film is exactly what it needed to be. A realistic and harrowing look at slavery. There were so many powerful scenes and performances that left me speechless and disgusted. This is how a movie with this message should make you feel.

  I’ve never been so angry at a film. A deep look into the effects of false accusations on the accused and the blindness of mob mentality. Mad Mikkelsens performance really takes you and puts you in the shoes of this character, you feel the isolation, heartbreak and fear that his character experiences. He’s amazing. The fact that this can happen to anyone is what makes this film so scary and essential.
