Beautiful cinematic depiction of today’s youth growing up too fast in America. The authentic piece of cinema defines the Ernest Hemingway quote of it’s the journey that matters in the end. A timeless piece that will resonate with today’s society more and more as the years go by.

Dune 2021
Tough one this. Acting was good and the overall plot of what will be a trilogy I really liked. Paired with the cinematography and a Hans Zimmer classic it should’ve been an easy 10. However the lack of action throughout meant it wasn’t as enjoyable for the length it was. That said I think it’s set itself up to have a couple brilliant films in the second and third. Also I had to constantly check my phone in the cinema as it was during the F1 race in Brazil which was class so that didn’t help.

Quality cast. Quality plot. Quality film. Only issue is his name is Will Hunting kinda makes the film name a bit odd. A young Ben Affleck and Matt Damon winning oscars for this and establishing themselves as Hollywood legends.

The Truman Show 1998
Jim Carey is a class act and this film is perfect, loved the plot and really gets you thinking. One issue is the wife in it (wife from Ozark) kind of annoyed me in that so brought it down seeing her. That said, she doesn’t really do anything wrong so I won’t be too harsh and the film is really well shot with some infamous quotes. Watch!
