Beau Is Afraid 2023
What a wild ride. Thought it was maybe more of a comedy than anything else. Sorta lacked a through line for me, or if it did, it was readily contradicted. Definitely worth the watch, a lot of great scenes that are horrifying or hilarious or surprising. Last 30 min or so seemed unnecessary.

A great historical drama, though I don’t know how closely it follows fact. It was surprising to me how many things the movie seemed to simultaneously be about, which I thought was a strength. Non chronological approach wasn’t hard to follow, though it did make keeping track of the characters difficult at times, but I suppose a second go around might fix that. Would watch again.
