  someone here said “long, sloppy, corny, sometimes funny film reaching for deep emotion it fails to grasp onto” and i agree, 

  but, 

  i really expected less. ariana surprised me bc during the whole promotion of the movie she didn't convince me at all (none of them) and now seeing her in full, i mean… she's not unpleasant. 

  so i give her a little credit for that. i also liked the character of ephie herself, but this is definitely not my thing, i think. at least not in this movie.

  i have to admit… there are days i fucking hate being a woman (for the very often unfair world where we live ) but I would never ever ever choose not to be one.
