Beautiful. The best special effects I have seen since Blade Runner 2049, paired with the cinematography and creative decisions of Dennis Villeneuve, gives an experience that can't be forgotten. A film almost only worthy for IMAX viewing. Spot-on adaptation of the book as well. The performances are nothing exalting, but good nonetheless. Although it leaves you with a thirsty tongue for more, it exceeded above and beyond my expectations.

Mommy, quite possibly the best thing Canada has been able to put out since the invention of poutine. DO NOT mistake my enthusiasm for this film as a sign of disrespect Xavier Dolan uses a simple story with a simple set of characters and manages to outstand in almost every regard. The soundtrack for this movie was specially intriguing and the way the aspect ratio changed for better storytelling is something I d not remember seeing in any other movie.…
