Good doc. Really sad how 2 guys destroyed what the OG founders created. How I pine for the days when I used MoviePass. I got more than my money's worth.
Still not sure why they can't come up with a better business model. How about... You have to view ads to use the app? I'd look at or watch ads if it meant $10/month for unlimited movies. 🤷🏻♂️ IDK just spitballin here.
What an oddly relatable journey, despite the film's setting. Gawain is on a quest to become great, worthy, honorable... and he fails one test after another. He cannot overcome his desires, shortcomings, and fears, which is a frustration I can understand. He eventually learns from his failures and discovers what true bravery entails, but it's quite an arduous process for him to get there.
The balance of the movie feels ethereal and dreamlike, leaving the audience to question what is…
Welp, I finally bit the bullet and watched this film. Can't wait to watch Snyder's twice-as-long remake so I can endure twice the suffering. One star for Ezra Miller's ability to make me laugh in the midst of this trainwreck.
Cons:
-bad acting
-cheesy dialogue
"you smell good"
"booya"
"but I'm also a big fan of justice"
"is this guy still bothering you?"
literally any line said by Jason Momoa
-cgi Henry Cavill face
-basically any other cgi featured in film
-no character/story development
-slooooooooooo moooooooooooo
-no heart
-Amy Adams
Pros:
-not 4 hours long
-Ezra Miller
