  I adore Flowers and I adore cats, so I was obviously going to adore this. And I do. Such a beautifully made film. Rare example of Olivia Colman being the weakest part of a film though, I found the narration a bit unnecessary at times.

  Rewatched this hoping it would be better than I remembered it being. It's worse. For a band as stylistic, as full of life and character as Queen were, it's fucking depressing that their name is attached to this bland, lifeless dirge. You get the impression from watching this that Brian and Roger must have secretly fucking hated Freddie. The historical inaccuracies are one thing, but this film is an insult to the memory of Freddie Mercury and every other person who lost their lives to AIDS. No I did not stutter. Go watch It's A Sin instead. Goodnight Wembley, there'll be no encores.

Following
