I am actually a contrarian on this one. I don't think this is a great movie. I would say this is average for hollywood. The messages seem to be disjointed. By halfway through the movie, they forgot about the mental illnesses. As a rom-com this is decent, but as a oscar-bait... This isn't it...
The movie portrays the BPD in Lawrence's character, but they messed up portraying a bipolar person. He seemed to be autistic instead. I think this movie whiffs on this aspect badly.Translated from by
