  Nope is absolutely excellent. Peele is a truly talented story teller, and you can tell he is at his peak. With his first film that provides a budget worthy of his stories, he creates something that is as thought-provoking as it is entertaining and suspenseful. It has scenes that are truly terrifying, as well as scenes that made me laugh out loud, all while providing a commentary on humanity’s constant need to be entertained no matter the cost, and he does it all masterfully.

  Fight Club 1999

  This is one of those movies that I just don’t understand the cult following it has amassed. Pitt and Norton do a great job in their leading roles, but other than that I don’t get it. The story is bizarre and I found myself uninterested for most of the movie. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I just do not believe there is anything that sets this movie apart.

  Minions: Rise of Gru is a funny and enjoyable addition to an already enjoyable franchise. Does it do anything that the other movies didn’t? No. Does it warrant a bad review because there is not much story? No. It’s a kids movie that is simply supposed to be funny and a good time for children, and that is what it does.

  Thor: Love and Thunder 2022

  While this is a fun, intergalactic adventure, some of the seriousness of the story and villain are lost by Marvel’s need to constantly make jokes. It is good to see one of the original Avengers back in action, and you can tell Hemsworth loves playing the character. Additionally, Christian Bale does a great job as Gorr. Even with the criticism’s I have for this movie, I could watch Thor movies for a long time and always enjoy them.
