Mutiny on the Bounty 1935
By far the best of all 3 movies made on the story of the Mutiny. Laughton’s performance as Captain Bligh is phenomenal!

Conviction 2010
During this Quarantine I went through many movies, Conviction , which I hadn’t seen, was truly great. At first I was not convinced of how a movie that treats a topic that has been treated many times and recently (innocence project, DNA reversals of conviction etc) would surprise me. However, it did! Hillary Swank and Sam Rockwell’s relationship as brother and sister is truly heart filling ! I loved it !

The Plot Against America 2020
What began as an entertaining and good idea, became a boring fiasco. Being an alternate history fiction, one could have made it more entertaining and with many other subplots. All we get, is this too familiar tragic outcome which doesn’t fit in the alternate history of the moment. We didn’t get to see anything different. Alternate history novels like alternate history films are supposed to show all points of view in the alternate history setting they are in. Unfortunately this does not.
