They really don’t make movies like this anymore. I know it’s gonna sound hokey, but this is just a really sweet movie. The characters are so real, and just trying to navigate through their own personal experiences and tragedies without the stakes being super high or melodramatic. I really felt like I was just watching 3 peoples lives through a window. Beautiful and wholesome - a real testament to the performers and writer’s abilities. This is a movie that can be watched multiple times through the years.

Carey Mulligan is the incredible burning heart of this story, and Bradley Cooper absolutely transformed! The cinematography is breathtaking, and the scene in the cathedral is magical. There’s not much that is exciting in this film, and it runs a bit slow, but it was still absolutely beautiful. Well done to hair and makeup department, they deserve any award that comes their way, and overall, well done Bradley Cooper for a successful directorial debut! He has shown in this film, if he hadn’t already, that he is one of the greats!
