Holy shit! I think part of my rating is due to my expectations going in, I thought I would enjoy it but with a low ceiling. My goodness, this was supposed to be a rom com, (kinda was still) that turned into a father son heartwarmer. Great all around, all the characters very enjoyable and RACHEL MF MCADAMS!!!!! My one true goat.

Good movie, seeing a ton of 5 star reviews which is kinda confusing. There was a lot going on, the storyline was a bit confusing at times, but it had great action scenes and good shock value. Good not great. 72/100

GOAT TALK. I was thinking about what movies I consider to be perfect 5/5’s, and this movie ive seen a million times popped into my head. So far I have Revenge of the Sith, Inglorious Basterds, AND NOW SPONGEBOB THE GOD DAMN MOVIE. This makes me laugh at unfathomable levels. I do not care that it is a silly cartoon movie, it SLAPS!!! I quote it in on a daily basis. Goofy Goober Rock solo rivals Free Bird in terms of greatness. Peak comedy, I will die on this hill.

Looked up “Best Heartwarming Movies” and this came up in every article, it did not disappoint man. It shows such a real family dynamic, the highs and the lows, and shows that no matter what your family is your family and they’ll unconditionally support you. Genuinely very funny at times too, Alan Arkin is always a beast and Steve Carell played an untraditional role but he killed it. Also Breaking Bad cameo was funny having both Walt and Hank in here randomly. THIS MADE ME SMILE SO MUCH
