Top Gun: Maverick 2022
Just a damn solid movie. Fun, nostalgic, cheesy, dramatic, badass. Wasn’t a huge fan of the first one besides the great score and soundtrack but I can say this one filled in what was missing nicely and had arguably better music. Only thing missing was “Take My Breath Away” by Berlin-sad.
Also, the older Tom Cruise gets, the more I like him. The man is passionate about keeping action movies alive and I respect him for that.

The Batman 2022
Mostly for the cinematography and the score. Also, the opening sequence introducing us to rainy, dirty, dark, Gotham on Halloween night was epic. Didn’t love Rob Pat unfortunately… too much staring and too little dialogue to work with. The other characters were great though! Def want to watch again, just not for a while.

Don’t think I’ve ever been so pumped up by a movie before. Downloading the score rn so I can relive it. Loved the cinematography, score, action, setting, action again, etc. Not much of a plot but who cares. Was never bored. Freaking stoked.
