  Watched on my phone on my commute. Got off the train with 2 mins to go and glad I did, because I was able to hide my tears at the end of the platform. That ending feels particularly poignant after certain unfortunate statements by wannabe world leaders.

  Can’t believe they managed to do the trifecta:

  Chibnall-era overcomplicated
  Moffat-era saccharine
  Davies-era handwavy

  Still somehow the best Christmas Special since Husbands of River Song
