Godzilla × Kong: The New Empire 2024
Diabolically bad. With every American Godzilla film released my expectation for the next one is lowered, and at every turn they manage to exceed my expectations with just how awful they can make a movie. I can't even be fucked to pen one of my lengthy criticisms I normally do for this one. It's not Skinamarink, that's about the highest praise I could give it.

Oh Skinamarink.
In August, I had the misfortune of watching Slenderman. In my review, I lamented that I could no longer call Longlegs the worst film I saw this year because Slenderman had stolen that title away. In my hubris, I foolishly assumed Slenderman would remain unshaken from it's spot as the worst film I'd watched all year.
Then came Skinamarink.

Longlegs 2024
Another industry plant of a movie. A main character that has no actual character beyond being on the perpetual precipice of a panic attack, that has somehow excelled through all the ranks and training required to be an FBI agent despite being down right awful at her job. Also seemingly half psychic, however this is a plot thread abandoned amongst many others. Dull, predictable and terribly unfrightening, I don't think I could say anything positive about this film even if I were under the threat of murder myself.
