Pretty fascinating concept with an intriguing twist. The insecurities and motives of the characters while tropish still felt real. The dialogue and acting felt a bit too shallow at times. I think the movie forced shock value in certain ways with the climax and the twist. It’s a decent thriller.

Do I think this film was necessary? No. However it wasn’t terrible. It falls in line with other recent live action remakes. Enjoyable for masses. Which makes the writing and dialogue unfortunately shallow. I tend to enjoy Disney films and also enjoyed this one. I like the new music. Some of the music did seem like it was made by AI. Also there were several scenes that I could mistake for very good AI. I’ll leave it at that.
Really cool entry into the mcu multiverse saga. I’m excited to see where the overarching story goes. I personally think this is a good stand alone film too but I say that with the context of relatively knowing what the mcu story has been so far. For individuals who are jumping in here it might be a different story.
I love Anthony Mackie as captain America. He fills this role so well and I think the shield was rightfully passed…
Interesting movie. I liked the concept of a man you envies other men and can certainly relate to some similar situations. The ending didn’t really do anything for me.
