Hats off to Monsieur Godard for nearly plunging me into an existential crisis. The film definitely makes you reconsider consumerism and life in modern France, but some of the monologues were a bit too vague for my taste.
I really enjoyed the coffee shot (how could you not?), the "Is this a hotel for Jews? It has only one star" joke, and the moment when I looked into Juliette's eyes as she broke the fourth wall. I nearly kicked my feet with joy—she’s just so stunning.
It was an enjoyable watch, but I don’t think I’ll be revisiting it anytime soon. Any other must-sees from Godard?
