I thought everyone hated this but the concept seemed cool and Ryan Reynolds is nornally quite funny.
Turns out it wasn’t that funny but I loved the plot and although by the middle I was thinking this is the worst thing ever made, by the time the plot had concluded and I understood what was happening and I got involved with the characters I think this film is bang average with a tint of greatness.

The concept too is actually quite interesting. The lessons it teaches too makes this a perfect Disney film, I actually feel bad giving it a 4* 😭
Very interesting film account from the real story of Papillon. Although a few differences the film isn’t a stereotypical film documenting a dramatised period, but an interesting and unique approach in the genre. It’s an artsy film that shows the story of Papi the beast who basically really wants French pussy and attempts to escape on multiple occasions to the point he may have become gay but leaves for the pussy which it seems he never ended up getting. In all seriousness it’s quite a good film would recommend.
Love this film, cgi is great, story telling is great and I now immediately want to watch the next one.
Everything a film should be. A couple of random issues with the film but nothing worthy of criticising.
