The most unique romance film I’ve ever seen. I’m not sure whether cannibalism is a metaphor for love or addiction. From the description of the urge they feel to the way they are treated by their loved ones it seems similar to opioid addiction. I think Creepy old man (Sully) represents addiction, as in its not something you can shake off easily, it follows you. Whereas Lee represents love, something you can’t change it’s just the way it is.
