A lot of money was poured into the production. Accordingly, it’s already fun to watch, but it remains a typical Hollywood production. Predictable, clumsy, kitschy with political correctness fails. The worm is the highlight of the film for me. Awesome monster! Otherwise, the film is full of embarrassing exoticism and unnecessary Oedipus scene when the main actor and the mother change in the desert. Ew, yuck, white old director. Intelligent and funny movie about social power plays. Very pleasing to watch. I appreciate the art direction of the scenes and atmosphere that developes from a "stock"-like, empty feeling to a more colorful fun vibe.
