Never had a chance watching this since like an age ago, read some bad reviews about it, and now I think It's one of the most underappreciated sci-fi of all time. I believe sci-fi freaks will love this "most influential sci-fi in pop culture" sequel lately more than three decades ago.....
And one of the most iconic villains in cinema history now has a twin sister.

This one is surely a genre-bender/blender. From the Dario Argento's Suspiria red-blue lighting, Mario Bava, Lucio Fulci in some of its Italian giallo elements, Brian de Palma's Carrie psychic power, Frank Henenlotter's Basket Case, to early Cronenberg's aestethic, an ode to 80's cult horror movies, and I think it really works. I enjoyed it, a lot. Once again, thanks James Wan !
