This movie adapts the real-life 1881 gunfight at the OK Corral in Tombstone, AZ, albeit rather loosely. Amazing cinematography, some of the best I have ever seen from a western period. Some of the blocking as well as the use of shadows is insane. On top of this, there’s an especially great performance by Henry Fonda as Wyatt Earp.
My main criticism is that the second act is boring. First and third acts have some great action and shocking moments…
My new headcanon is that this is a prequel to Conclave

Really fun film with cool sci-fi premise, loved Robert Pattinson’s performance and the on-the-nose commentary by the director. Only problems I had is that it has some pacing issues and that a few plot threads started during the first half of the movie go nowhere. Can see this becoming a sci-fi classic in a few years!
I feel like this movie was meant for cinephiles and movie historians because they reveal people like Louis B Mayer and Orson Welles with epic MCU introductions.
Good movie but feels like only movie enthusiasts, old Hollywood enjoyers, and people who work in the film industry will enjoy it. I align with the second description in that list, and I greatly enjoyed seeing the snapshot of the Golden Age of Hollywood through its most successful era. I do not feel…
