There was a clear attempt to portray discrimination in modern-day society. In my opinion, it could've worked better if the "differences" focused on the character constructs (ie. fire's temper, water's empathy, earth's calmness, etc.) rather than the physical differences if the movie really wanted to portray modern-day discrimination. Not saying that physical qualities are no longer discriminated, rather the qualitative social constructs are what primarily fuel discrimination in modern-day society (assuming that it is a progressive society, otherwise, it is…
It started with a good and promising premise. The buildup was similarly good and engaging.
The movie was like a combination of camp rock and pitch perfect but with royals. Of course, with such expectations, the ending could've been grand like something out of Eurovision.
The ending felt rushed and lackluster compared to other Barbie movies. Princess and the Popstar has done it already so I was confused why the ending of this movie kind of felt rushed.
Overall, good music, and I love the music video at the end.

It really hits hard when you have already realized and actualized yourself as the embodiment of mediocrity. Anyway, the title is very poetic and deep (like wow). Superb cinematography and music 👌. Good character development 💯.
