  Growing up, my family and I had a black cat named Coco who was an absolute sweetie. Sadly she passed away several years back, but watching this film reminded me of her. I’d like to believe that she’s now the cat in this film; in a different world having found a new family of misfits to call her own. Rest in peace Coco <3

  Gave this film a watch because I was intrigued by the first-person style of shooting. So glad I did. Sure, you don't get to see the actor's faces as much, but quite literally being in their shoes makes up for it. Combining this with some ambiguous imagery and non-linear storytelling made it feel like I was reliving Elwood and Turner's traumatic memories. The first-person POV isn't just there for show, it's the emotional core of the story.

  Actually feel so bad for Austin Butler. Bro acted his ass off just for this movie to be ruined by Tom Hanks as a one-dimensional, comically evil manager who's the narrator for some reason. Honestly wouldn't have minded this creative decision so much if the Colonel had some character depth, but nope. Just a generic selfish gambler with an awful voice.
