American Psycho 2000
idek where to start with this one. I've seen this movie by myself and with friends more times than i can count and it somehow gets funnier every time. Bale executes his portrayal of a Wall Street yuppie disconnected from reality with a certain levity that I've yet to find in any of his other performances. He plays it so tongue and cheek and i love him for that. i have to return some videotapes.

probably the best movie I've seen all year. i can recognize it for the predictable summer blockbuster that it is, but that didn't make me love it any less. The final act had me holding my breath.

New favorite movie? Maybe. I'll have to rewatch it as many times as American Psycho to know for sure, but I think so. I loved the scene where they said 'Minority Report' like 6 times.
