The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 2012
Experiencing the Carlisle-moment in cinemas was a historic event and I will forever cherish it. Other than that Renaissance annoyed me a little, Rami Malek killed his water bender skills and Edward looked great. The two parts wouldn’t have been necessary but the movie is „a child of its time“. Pity, the Irish did not get the attention they do in the books, but I can’t have it all, I guess.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 2011
Cried at Jessica’s speech and the wedding. What came after the chicken was practically unbearable. I prefer reading about Bella’s decay because watching it truly was uncomfortable.

Ku'damm 59 2018
The sequel is even more dramatic than the first trilogy. The amount of rock music was a bit too much for me, but who cares? What really astonished me is the character development. Besides that I suffered with the characters emotional rollercoasters. That's how I can tell if a film got me good.

Amélie 2001
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Lost any sense of time while watching. It´s a love story, a confession of love really, towards life itself and all the little moments and obscurities that make it liveable.
The romantic, kept-to-herself, curious nature of Amélie is just adorable. The way the movie is made as well as how the plot sometimes turns without any other function than to create the whole (close to overwhelming) world perception of our protagonist, is truly remarkable and to me even relatable.
