Sin City 2005
I understand that crime and the grimy reality of life is a staple of film noir, but this film really takes the misogyny and brutal hatred of women to an unnecessary level. Cool visuals i suppose but this feels more like a woman-hating 18 year old boy’s wet dream rather than an homage to film noir and detective comics
