such a fun, fast-paced, absurd raunchy comedy that filled with exciting actions and a sweet dose of romance, with fun soundtrack. Jamie and Marian gave Joy and Sadness + Anxiety vibe and I just love their dynamic. the characters being comical especially the main girls (Jamie's "Sandy Squirrel's accent and Marian's neurotically blunt nature) at one point is a good thing but lack of profound motivation or mental development. and the psychedelic intermissions are just so random wtf

Asian fetishization of Lolita, poor character development, racist and predatory, not to mention the white characters are so shamelessly nasty and dislikeable. pretty visual, though. funny how to Tony Leungs ever played an erotic historical drama and both failed in its potential to be smashing. Lust, Caution is better though

oh how I really miss the taxi rides...and there's something philosophical about night drive, I don't know why. maybe it's the conversation with anyone that you're with. maybe it's the quiet of the night. maybe it's the song that plays on the radio. I think taxi drivers have the most interesting stories ever with their passengers, not gonna lie.
