A really fun and breezy little thriller. I’m always impressed how Soderbergh can crank out a film. The cast seems so happy and having a good time in this especially Fassbender. He just brings it and just rules in every scene.
Proof positive there’s nothing wrong with a quick little thriller. Still shocked the Soderbergh/Koepp team up might be the thing we’ve always needed.
I feel like I need to rewatch this. I love that Bong follows up Parasite with this odd and pretty funny film. I think it’s a tad bit of a mess that could’ve been structured better. Still Pattinson’s good and Bong is still the king. This might improve on repeat viewings but it’s messiness is undeniable.
A small film with some great moments, Culkin’s really good in this. You feel both annoyance and sympathy for his character which is some great work on his part. Eisenberg seems to pick up on the small character moments which adds a ton to the film.
I liked it. Wish I liked it more.
Shocked how fun this was. The smartest thing the film does is makes nearly every single character likable while making no agendas or stances on anything. It would be easy to poke holes in the story but it really doesn’t matter. The film moves and really well paced. Chung seems to get what type of film this should be .
Also Powell is a legit start if that wasn’t obvious.
