Wicked 2024
Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande can’t save this disjointed musical. Not having seen the Broadway show I don’t have an emotional attachment to the material which was beloved by everyone attendance in my theater. The theater kid energy was contagious lol. BUT I can’t but help feeling that something was lost in translation with this adaptation. Ariana Grande giving a STAND OUT performance can’t block out the shitty CGI. The movie aesthetic did not work for me personally at all.…

Anatomy of a Fall 2023
As someone who got a D- in courtship and marriage. I have a right to say MARRIAGE is hard. And man does this courtroom drama put that on display like no other. One of the best child acting performances in recent time fucking nails that point home as he has to relive his parents nightmarish existence. CHILLING from start to finish and one of the years best.
