We are bodies made up by traumas, triggered in certain situations. Dealing with this is different for everybody, and in the chaos of a busy city with stimuli everywhere, it could get very difficult. Sometimes, moving to an environment more quiet is the best option, as for once, you can finally hear your thoughts, filter out all the buzz, and realise where and when you are.
Bonus: I cried
This was my first time watching Slow Cinema, and it opens up a new world for me to explore. The long takes and slowness of the scenes creates space for the spectator to ponder about the narrative. I often found myself watching the characters mainly in silence and realised how little we know of what is going on in someone else’s head.
