  This film is hazy and soft, however sad it may be. It puts you in a dreamy, fantasizing state, perhaphs because the whole movie is just that, a fantasy, the boys' fantasy.   It resembles Shutter Island which is why I kind of expected the ending but not really, I mean it made me question things till the last absolute minute. I theorized throughout the whole film, which btw is a liiitle too long for my liking, but it's really well made and full of surprising and unexpected twists
