This was very highly recommended to me, I liked it but wasn’t obsessed, it made me think a little bit about the book Yellow Face, I guess similar themes. Probably too highly recommended for me to go in neutrally, but it certainly was not bad!

Sing Sing 2023
I absolutely loved this film. I feel as though the humanity of prisoners is not adequately represented in cinema, and I loved how this was based in truth. I cried and was so moved when I learnt the majority of actors featuring in this film were actual members from the RTA programme, what a beautiful full circle moment. All in all this movies shines a light on the human in all of us, the importance of the arts and touches on the injustices of the American prison system.
