  I’m still trying to process this one—and frankly, I may never stop. It defies any and all attempts to define it as strictly “good” or “bad,” or ascribe to it some arbitrary grade or numerical score. Simply put, this is a baffling film.

  A taut thriller with a lot to say about policing in America. This had no business being as good as it is—especially given the nightmare production it reportedly underwent. Snappy dialogue, excellent pacing, and a likely (and entirety deserved) star-making turn from Aaron Pierre.
