Monopoly, Blueberry Pie, Religion and Hugh Grant. All the ingredients for an excellent Sunday evening family film night. Except there’s no blueberry pie, there is no monopoly and there is no religion. Just a terrifying Hugh Grant.
You’ve seen it a dozen times before; pair of girls with no survival instincts in the house of a guy who seems harmless at first glance but slowly peels back the mask, except this time… it’s Hugh Grant !
Really good dialogue and…
Some of the best action sequences in Star Wars. Definitely some nostalgia points on this one as it was my favourite prequel growing up, despite all of the really boring parts I think it holds up a lot better than its predecessor. Better than Phantom Menace. Worse than every other Star Wars film (not including the sequels, they aren’t Star Wars movies, they are woke, soyboy, propaganda, cashgrab movies. My least favourite genre of cinema)
The good parts of this film were really really good but it was way too drawn out. Knock about 40 minutes off of the run time and this would be a way better movie. I understand what they filmmakers were going for with the long drawn out static shots but that is fucking boring when it’s 50% of the film. Scary tho.
Does Lea have some sort of force field around her that makes her impossible to capture when she’s running? How fucking dumb that the 10 year old girl is able to outrun fit adults. Lea is also so dumb, I’m never rooting for her cuz she’s annoying and dumb, try running from obi-wan then cry for his help when you inevitably fall, fuck you. They also show the inquisitors way too much.
