I like Yeon Sang Ho, I like typical Korean-film absolutely worthless protagonists (this one doesn't even get the courtesy of eventually doing a good thing by the end), I like classic Bill Paxton in Frailty "mission from the lord" storyline, and I like the fact that Alfonso Cuaron was a producer on this for some reason.

    The movie itself? It's fine.

Thought I'd check in on what Emile Hirsch's old Jack-Black-lookin'-ass had been up to lately.

Immediately wished I had not done that.

So now I guess we could say that Maria Bakalova has now been brutally raped onscreen by Donald Trump AND almost statutorily raped as a 15 year old in real life by Donald Trump's rotting corpse of a lawyer in Borat 2.

I have to say, this goes a little harder than I expected. At this point, it's pretty clear that the baby Hitler situation probably needs to apply here, but now I'm confused as to whether our time traveller should go back in time to witness and oversee the birth of Donald Trump or Roy Cohen.

One of the most stunning looking pictures ("pictures" I call them) I've seen in a long time that perhaps suffers from being a touch too cold, grim and gory for its own good. And did they really do ATJ like that, or did I just imagine something horrible that didn't even occur?

I liked this a lot, especially in the moment, but it's already fading fast from my memory, unlike The Northman which replayed in my brain for weeks later. I think that makes Nosferatu my third favourite Eggers, a rough gem.

Orlock is way more of an asshole in this one than the originals.
