Everything Everywhere All at Once is what happens when you mix a multiverse sci-fi epic with a deeply personal immigrant story. It’s absurd, it’s emotional, and it’s absolutely brilliant. Michelle Yeoh is a goddess. The hot dog fingers? Weirdly touching. The bagel? Existentially terrifying. If you didn't cry at the mother-daughter moment, you’re lying.
Beau Is Afraid is basically three hours of Ari Aster gaslighting the audience into madness. It’s stressful, bizarre, and way too relatable if you’ve ever had anxiety. Joaquin Phoenix is acting his heart out while we all collectively lose our minds. I left the theater questioning my existence. I will never recover.
Marcel the Shell with Shoes On is pure serotonin in movie form. Who knew a tiny shell could be this moving? It’s funny, it’s heartwarming, and somehow deeply existential. A modern classic.
