  Beautiful imagery. There is no dialogue but the mannerisms of each animal say so much! Very nice watch for something on the calmer, sentimental side. Also a perfect film for animal lovers.

  Acting is good, especially for a younger cast making up the majority of screen time. The monsters are original, but the post apocalyptic theme is a little all over the place. I wish more was explained about the world they’re in.

  Nicolas Cage has been growing on me in recent years. I have watched this movie so many times and I have been left with the same feeling of wanting to know more about Cage’s character, Longlegs. 
  I went into the film not really knowing what to expect, only that there was a serial killer spree involved and a young, female FBI agent, similar to Silence of the Lambs.
  Also, as a fan of 70s glam rock, the incorporation of T. Rex was an awesome bonus.
