  “Before they bite, they bark. Before they hit you, they hit near you"  
  
  This is such a real view of domestic violence and emotional abuse, it was very raw and heartbreaking. It doesn’t turn it into some romanticised version of domestic violence, which is often how it’s portrayed and is very frustrating. 

  It reinforces that bruises and bloody lips aren’t the only embodiment of abuse, but that abuse exists in many different forms. 

  Really emotional, it will definitely stick with me

  This film was cute but I don’t think I enjoyed it as much as most people did which is a shame
