mixed feelings. i found some aspects intriguing and amusing but i was also confused at times. I couldn’t grasp the point or lesson of the movie. I guess it demonstrates how insecurity or low self-esteem can lead these characters into troubled relationships, where their lack of knowing what they want drives them to seek love and sex to feel something: emotional validation?. i laughed in some bits which was enjoyable.

This movie perfectly illustrates the consequences of bottling up emotions instead of communicating. The boys didn’t have the best role models; there was a strong emphasis on being world champions and macho men, yet little attention was put in what the boys actually want for their lives or to educating them to have good values and emotional intelligence 🤷🏼♀️. Definitely a movie that taught me how NOT to educate my kids 🫣:
