Went in expecting haha, went out remembering friends, family, the people I love, the bonds I've made and the juvenile heart. I have not felt this way in a long time, and remorse is not something you can just let fester. A life is well spent with others, and I cannot express the hole this will leave in me for a long time. Cherish what is closer to you.

Fantastic stuff. Emotionally moving with cinematography alone. There's a love for "place" that a lot of movies miss out on, and Akin nails it with his shots both in Germany and Turkey.

Wow, a fucking trip and a half. Amazing visuals, combined with a spectacle like no other. Post-modernist as it is, it expertly showcases the LA lifestyle, but also the complexities of such a place. My emotions are completely stirred, as if I had just been shaken from a bad dream. Tumored and black, I step forward and can only see the shadowy imprint I left on the sand. Is it me or you who has the advantage? Where will my head rest after dark? Finally, somewhat of a visual; a glimmer, a sty.

The weird in-between between an art house film and a genre film. Bizarre in how it doesn’t decide what it wants to be. Very floaty.
