Every single character is comic relief.
It should have stayed a TV show. I feel like a ton was lost, everything introduced is missing depth and explanation. What little is there feels rushed. It doesn't look particularly good. Not a single catchy song.

Some Notes from a Pooh fan-
Arguably a better interpretation of the source material than the Disney version, at least tonally. It perfectly walks the smart/sarcastic yet stupid line that a lot of the Disney stuff misses. Pooh is truly a philosopher here.
Apparently, since the bear is the national symbol of Russia, there were some concerns about portraying Pooh as a teddy. So, instead, Pooh's Russian interpretation shoots for making him a more "real" bear. The (relatively) more realistic…

What in the Oppenheimer is the deal with the random black and white shots?
Brave of him to have fishnet t-shirts be a staple of his wardrobe.
There's a lot of fantastic stuff in here, but the pacing, particularly in the first 1/3rd, is a huge issue. The ten minutes of driving around Tokyo for no reason was a real buzz kill.
