  There aren’t enough words in the English language to encapsulate what this movie means to me and to explain the beauty and love that is intertwined in this film. Moved to tears every single time. I watch it through the eyes of my childhood self, loving the music and the romance but being confused why the Von Trapps had to leave their house. That girl in still in there, but now recognizes the art of the cinematography & the historical climate in which it was filmed. I see my grandma in every frame 🤍
