that phone call scene was so awful i was hoping a second 9/11 would happen and put big out of his misery so it would be over faster

Stunning. Beautiful. Moving. A masterpiece.
This is seriously my new favorite film ever- I’m a huge musical theatre fan, and I love the original stage version of this, so I had high expectations for the film adaptation. I was worried that I would be disappointed after listening to the soundtrack on spotify since some of the songs had been changed or cut, and don’t get me wrong, I’m still upset about a few of those choices, but OMG- this surpassed every expectation I had. I cannot wait to recommend this to everyone I know.
