  Strong performances pretty much all around imo.

  I  think it’s tough to create a 5 star film when remaking something that his been told across several different mediums over the last 100ish years, but Eggers (one of my favs) was able to get pretty damn close. I was able to judge how well he was telling the story based on the reactions of my girlfriend and roommates who had never seen any version of Nosferatu before, they were absolutely locked in.

  I love coming of age films, they always unlock so many memories for me and I find it to be so easy to put myself into the main character’s shoes. Didi takes this to another level because it takes place in my childhood town and the director and I actually went to high school together.   First time rewatching this film since its original release in theaters…fucking banger. It’s crazy that this is the consensus “worst” film in the trilogy and it is still a great fucking film. Sucks James Franco tanked his career, loved him in this film. Draco Malfoy acting is very bad but he’s no more so we move.
