So we all know this film is amazing. I mean, probably every part with just Bella and Edward could be deleted. The baseball scene tho is a cinematic masterpiece. And Roaslie's bf walking in with a bag of like 20 hardboiled eggs in the opening vampire scene. U go kingggg<3

This film was absolutely not what I was expecting. The director, costume designer, and even music choices were all so interesting. Having it set in a modern era, but have all things surrounding Elaine and the characters fit a more 60s or 70s vibe was so weird, I honestly had to force myself to wrap my head around it.

The ending with her staring straight into the camera with a knowing and confident look in her eyes -great character development from the beginning, even if it was unconventionally acheived.
However, a lot was happening in this, and also nothing at all. I think in some ways the oddities did not fully make sense, which was the point, but the weird human aspects of her character became lost to her obsession - which I think is the downfall of this film.
