After the insult to Allah that was cars 2, this was a valiant, and in some aspects, successful attempt to raise this franchise from the ashes. By leaning back into what made the first movie so great, and more importantly, ignoring everything spy related completely, a small part of the magic of the cars world was brought back to us. It does suffer from a few hangovers from the second installment, primarily delving into how Lightning will process the loss…

This is quite possibly the greatest piece of art that has ever been and likely will ever be created. It is pure perfection from start to finish, not a single beat missed. I am brought to tears just thinking about this masterpiece, and I didn't even cry at my mother's funeral. I could write several novels about how and why this is the perfect film, or you could just watch it and embrace it's beauty. If you do watch it and you do not agree, watch it again. If you still do not think this film is the greatest single thing on existence, watch it again.
