Watched this on the drive back to Boise, and while it was fun and entertaining, it wasn’t anything spectacular. I really liked how each character had their own unique personality and how they worked together as a team. The magic tricks were cool, and it was interesting to see how they pulled them off. The plot twist was decent, but I wasn’t too surprised. I had a pretty good guess about who it was before the reveal. Overall, an enjoyable watch, but not a movie that really stuck with me.

Fantastic Mr. Fox 2009
A simple yet brilliant story brought to life with absolutely stunning stop motion animation. I haven’t seen many movies in this style, but I loved every second of it. The humor is sharp and witty, making it just as fun for adults as it is for kids. Beyond that, it’s surprisingly heartwarming, with themes of family, identity, and embracing who you are. Every frame is so meticulously crafted, and the voice cast is perfect. An incredibly fun and charming film that kept me entertained the whole way through.

I had high expectations after Mad Max: Fury Road, and this absolutely delivered. Everything about this movie was incredible, the stunning sets, jaw dropping action, compelling story, and breathtaking performances. Anya Taylor-Joy was phenomenal as Furiosa, bringing strength and depth to the character. And while she was fantastic, Chris Hemsworth truly stole the show with a performance that was nothing short of extraordinary. The action sequences somehow managed to surpass even Fury Road, delivering some of the most intense and creative scenes I’ve ever seen. This is a high octane masterpiece that cements the Mad Max franchise as the gold standard for action films.
