If it’s funny and makes me think, I’ll probably love it.
Top 4 are movies I rewatch the most.

“My pussy still hurts just by thinking of you” is an actual, unironic line in this movie.
Why was this a musical? None of the songs were good and without that element, the story would have flowed more smoothly as a full on thriller. That musical number in the sex change operating room was beyond cringe, I was literally recoiling into my seat.
Also, I started to like the last act until Emilia reveals who she is to Selena and…

Honestly, I was very bored.
Nice costumes and acting tho (I liked the psychic aunt)
I get that narration is used because it’s all the little girl’s memory, but the plot was just very predictable.
“Oh wow the train runs by but doesn’t kill anyone” isn’t an interesting plot resolution, sorry.
Also, if the main point of the movie is dealing with the sister’s trauma regarding her dad’s harassment, and the truth of what really happened in that moment, shouldn’t…
I could say so much but I’ll put it simply: this was not fun. Do not watch this. Smart at times but the ideas are only half baked with bad execution. I stayed for the interesting ideas but that is literally the only redeeming quality to this show. Also Emma Stone is the only good actor in this and I still don’t even buy her performance completely. Frustrating because this had potential but then crapped all over its own entertainment value on purpose. Give me a break.
Do not watch this.

This is more than just a special. It’s a documentary, a film, a rock opera and so much more. What amazes me the most is that not only did Bo make this in one room, but the quality of all the songs and the entire thing is mind blowing. Half the time, Bo sings about stupid concepts like Jeff Bezos and turning 30, but these songs are so good and brilliantly put together that you can’t help but laugh at and admire the absurdity of it all.
