Half baked movie which tries to cram every asian immigrant trope into one . Asian woman falls in love with w̶h̶i̶t̶e̶ water man, whose life is saved by him, and has a career breakthrough due to her knowing his affluent family. Just a really weird, creepy film that did not sit right with me - go watch Zootopia instead.

Revisiting this properly, I'm pleasantly surprised at how entertaining and mature the storytelling is. The gaslighting of Skinner throughout the story is great. It makes sense why I did not enjoy as much as a kid, as the movie would be funnier, and perhaps the themes more resonant, for an older audience.

Very stylish, substance could not match. Enjoyed the morally grey take on his parents. He finds out Riddler's magnum opus through sheer luck. Final action sequence very clearly tacked on.
